 treewide: initial import of the shellgraph collector 
Command line program that scans one VLAN with SSH and sends one report
to the server. It installs nothing on the target hosts.

- Fixed read-only collection script, parsers for ps, ip, ss and /proc,
  Docker and Podman containers without nsenter.
- Direction rules, service names and keys, TOFU host keys.
- login, scan, probe and version subcommands, worker pool, report upload.
- Podman lab with LDAP and an end-to-end test.
- Makefile for Linux and macOS on amd64 and arm64, and PGO profile.

shellgraph (collector)

The ShellGraph collector. It scans one VLAN with SSH, finds the services and their connections on each host, and sends one report to shellgraph-server. It installs nothing on the target hosts.

Quick start

make build-local
./bin/shellgraph login --server https://shellgraph.example.net --token <token>
./bin/shellgraph scan

Development

  • make test: Go tests.
  • make build: binaries for Linux and macOS, amd64 and arm64.
  • testlab/lab.sh e2e: end-to-end test with Podman (see testlab/README.md).
  • make help: all targets.
